A former NDSU distance runner (2007-2012), Jacob now spends his free time with his girlfriend Madison and their newborn, Hattie, or relaxing at his parents' lakeside retreat near Detroit Lakes. After living in various places, he's convinced the FM area's strong community spirit makes it the perfect place to call home.
